One of the things I am most grateful for is the chance to write for brands and publications that are in line with my values.
The right to speak our truth is one of the core foundations of our country, and yet, there are many many people who - historically and presently - do not have the power, platform, or passion to share their message. I write these stories and perspectives because I have the privilege to do so and because I believe it is my responsibility to use that privilege for social impact.
The Fact that we are here and that I speak these words
is an attempt to break that silence
and bridge some of those differences between us,
for it is not difference which immobilizes us, but silence.

I am also currently fundraising to open a coworking + community space in my town, St. Augustine, FL.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
The Space is to be a coworking + community space in my town, St. Augustine, FL. We are a town full of artists, entrepreneurs, and small business owners - who have no place to convene, create, and collaborate.
The building will operate as a green building and the business as a certified B Corporation. From using hyper local tradespeople in the buildout to working with community leaders in perpetuity, everything about this project will be focused on increasing the economic and community resources of St. Augustine.
I want to increase the quality of life for those of us who work, play and live in St. Augustine.
“There’s a moment when you have to choose whether to be silent or to stand up.”
