Rebuilding lives: providing shelter, education & employment to survivors of human trafficking and gender violence so they can remain free forever.

Her Future Coalition offers shelter, education and employment programs to survivors of gender violence and girls at the highest risk. Our long term, intensive support enables them to recover from trauma, rejoin society, and build a bright future. We believe passionately in collaboration as the only way to solve the world’s' biggest problems, and operate many of our programs in partnership with respected local agencies, with whom we have built relationships of trust over many years.

PROJECT INFO: Since 2011, I have consulted with Her Future Coalition and their parent Non-Profit, T.E.N. Charities in a variety of ways including: event planning, financial management, audit support, and legal analysis of the benefits to transitioning to a social enterprise.

We didn't choose this name, Champagne on a Wednesday, to imply that our life is all about poppin' bottles and day drinking, but we did choose it to remind ourselves (and you) that every day can be a celebration and a chance for something amazing to happen.

PROJECT INFO: Financial Consulting re: bookkeeping, inventory recording, and tax treatment of donations to charity as % of profit.

The Space St. Augustine

The Space St. Augustine

We will be purchasing and rehabbing a 4,000 square foot building to create a multi-functioning collection of spaces including wellness rooms, a full kitchen, event space, open coworking space, dedicated office space, a podcast recording booth, and so much more. In addition to providing physical space, we’ll be offering or partnering with people to offer values-based business, wellness and community events.

The building will operate as a green building and the business as a certified B Corporation. B Corporations operate under a model that considers how their company’s business model impacts your workers, community, environment, and customers. From using hyper local tradespeople in the rehab to working with community leaders in perpetuity, everything about this project will be focused on increasing the economic and community resources of St. Augustine.

Simply, our goal is to give people the opportunities, tools and resources they need to grow their business and build community. More broadly, we want to increase the quality of life for those of us who work, play and live in St. Augustine.

As the famous quote by Helen Keller says, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
